A broken spike disables the rail fastening
When the spike head breaks, the rail cannot be safely fastened in the original position.
The standard approach means removing and replacing the concrete sleeper, often with additional related work.
Sleeper replacement requires a technical procedure, manpower and a closure or significant operating restriction.
Replacing the complete sleeper
The conventional method replaces the damaged sleeper with a new one. This is physically demanding, especially for a concrete sleeper of around 340 kg, and requires several follow-up steps.

Hole regeneration without sleeper replacement
We drill out the broken sleeper spike, clean the hole and prepare it for a regenerative insert. It is fixed with a chemical anchor to restore functional rail fastening.
